ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that the plan for 38 electric buses in Islamabad has now reached the level of EOI. In December this year, 38 electric buses will start running in the federal capital.
According to details, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry in his message on social networking website Twitter said that the project of 38 electric buses in Islamabad has now reached the level of EOI, the next major project is the electric train from Islamabad Airport to Murree. The study of the project has been started, a meeting has been held with the Ministry of Planning. InshAllah, this project will change the landscape of tourism and travel.

The Federal Minister for Science and Technology has said that the government is working on a plan to convert public transport into electric vehicles in metropolitan cities to eliminate environmental pollution. In December this year, 38 electric buses will run on the roads of the federal capital. The project is expected to attract 3 billion to 5 billion foreign investment.
