Lahore: Special Assistant to Prime Minister Usman Dar has announced that there will be development works worth Rs 40 billion in the Sahiwal and Sialkot districts of Punjab.

According to details, an agreement has been signed with the Asian Development Bank for development projects in two districts of Punjab. In this regard, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Usman Dar said that Imran Khan had signed an agreement to provide financial assistance, Sahiwal and Sialkot will have development works worth Rs 40 billion.

He said that funds worth Rs. 15 billion would be provided in Sialkot

Usman Dar said that drainage, sanitation and solid waste management projects would be completed. Establishment of parks and beautification of the city are also part of the agreement.

He said he is grateful to the Asian Development Bank for its financial assistance agreements.

The Special Assistant further said that he also thanked the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Punjab for giving priority to Sialkot, adding that fulfillment of the promises made to the people of Sialkot would be possible in any case.
