LAHORE: Punjab Food Minister Aleem Khan has said that there is no shortage of wheat and flour in Punjab.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Food Minister Abdul Aleem Khan in which the availability and prices of wheat and flour across the province were reviewed.

Talking in the meeting, Aleem Khan said that there is no shortage of wheat and flour in Punjab and there is ample stock, daily supply of wheat is continuing as per the requirement of flour mills.

He said that 20 and 10 kg bags of flour are being provided at fixed prices, the food department should ensure wheat reserves for the province by March-April, monitor the delivery of wheat from Attock, Bhakkar and Kashmore to other provinces.

The Food Minister said that the supply of imported wheat to flour mills and the current situation is satisfactory
