KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department has said that the rate of coronavirus cases in the province has risen to more than 6 percent. Earlier, on July 20, the rate of positive cases was recorded at 6.60% while in October, the rate of cases ranged from 1.9% to 3.1%.

According to the details, the Sindh Health Department said that the rate of coronavirus cases in the province has increased by more than 6%. The rate of positive cases of coronavirus has been rising since November 13.

The health department said that the positive rate of corona cases reached 6.02% on November 16, 4.06% on November 12, and 4.93% on November 7 in Sindh.

The health department said that earlier on July 20, the positive rate of corona cases in Sindh was recorded at 6.60%, while in October the rate of cases ranged from 1.9% to 3.1%.

Corona: The situation could reach at dangerous levels in Pakistan

The health department further said that if precautionary measures are not taken, the rate of coronavirus is likely to increase further.

It may be recalled that the second wave of corona virus has taken a dangerous turn in the country including Sindh province. The number of confirmed cases of corona in the country has reached 361,082.

In the last 24 hours, 2,050 new cases of Covid 19 have been reported.

In the last 24 hours, 33 more people have died due to corona virus infection in the country, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 7,193.

At present, the number of confirmed cases active in hospitals and quarantine at home is 29,055 while the number of patients recovering is 324,834.
