Pakistan has categorically rejected the Indian Prime Minister’s indication of Pakistan’s involvement in the Pulwama attack, saying that the BJP government took direct advantage of the Pulwama attack in February 2019.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said in a statement that the Indian Prime Minister had distorted the statement of the Federal Minister in the National Assembly of Pakistan. The Federal Minister had referred to the response to India by the Pakistan Armed Forces.
What Fawad Chaudhry has said in his controversial statement about India?
He said that the Federal Minister had mentioned the blunt response to the failed Indian adventure on February 26. Blaming Pakistan for its weaknesses and failures is a characteristic of the BJP leadership. Anti-Pakistan propaganda has been part of the BJP’s election campaign.
The Foreign Office spokesman said that the BJP had victory in the Lok Sabha due to the Pulwama attack and the anti-Pakistan election campaign.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said that India could not present any evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in the Pulwama attack, BJP should stop dragging Pakistan in its domestic politics especially in elections.
It is the BJP leadership’s incurable obsession with #Pakistan & a part & parcel its electoral strategy to raise the Pakistan ‘bogey’ in the attempt to galvanise voters’ support, while seeking to divert public attention from their domestic & foreign policy failures. 2/4

Instead of mobilizing the electorate through stoking of anti-Pakistan sentiments, the BJP leadership would be well-advised to win voter support by demonstrating actual performance in meeting the expectations of the Indian people. 4/4
