According to Iskander Khan, the ex-mill rate of sugar has also come down to Rs 78 per kg.

Chairman Iskander Khan said that Rs 78 per kg of sugar includes Rs 14 tax.

He said that the government’s move to end the role of middlemen in sugarcane procurement has had positive effects while maintaining the price of sugarcane at Rs. 200 has also reduced the ex-mill rate of sugar.

Iskander Khan said that sugar in Afghanistan is currently Rs 200 per kg, so in order to reduce the price of sugar, it is necessary to tighten the borders of Afghanistan, while the government should stop exporting Jaggery to Afghanistan because sugar is smuggled to Afghanistan under the guise of Jaggery.
