Lahore: Maryam Nawaz reached the accountability court on the hearing of the money laundering case against Shahbaz Sharif.
Accountability court judge Jawad Al-Hassan will hear the reference in which NAB officials brought Shahbaz Sharif in court.
The court has sought a reply from the DG NAB regarding the trial of the case in jail while Shahbaz Sharif’s daughter Rabia Imran, Salman Shahbaz, and Haroon Yousuf have been given an opportunity to appear. However, the court has exempted Shahbaz Sharif’s daughter Jawariya Ali.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has reached the accountability court to express solidarity with her uncle Shahbaz Sharif while other leaders including Maryam Aurangzeb and Ahsan Iqbal are also present with her.
On the arrival of Maryam Nawaz in the court, a large number of Pakistan Muslim League Noon (PML-N) workers gathered outside the court and chanted slogans on her arrival.
The judge of the accountability court adjourned for half an hour after a brief hearing on the case, after which Maryam Nawaz met with Shahbaz Sharif in the courtroom.
