ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has taken important decisions to prevent corona, according to which it has been decided to close all markets, shopping malls, and wedding halls till 10 pm.


It was decided in the NCOC meeting that the time for wedding halls has already been fixed till 10 pm and now restaurants and shopping malls will also be closed at 10 pm.

According to the NCOC, essential services, medical stores, clinics, and hospitals will remain open as usual. It has been decided in the NCOC meeting that the parks will also be closed at 6 pm. These decisions will take effect on October 29.
The meeting made it mandatory to wear masks in public places from tomorrow and it was decided that smart lockdown would be implemented in hotspot areas.

It may be recalled that Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, had said yesterday that the second wave of Corona in Pakistan has started gradually. He said that the number of deaths due to corona is also increasing while the corona test positive rate has reached 2.5 to 3.5 percent.

Declaring it mandatory to wear masks in shopping malls, shops, and public places in Islamabad, it was said that failure to wear masks could result in fines and arrests by the police. The Deputy Commissioner said that section 144 would be implemented for two months.

It may be recalled that in view of the increase in Corona cases in Karachi, several government schools in the Malir district have been closed. In 8 government schools in Malir district, coward cases were reported.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, 825 more Corona cases were reported in the country during the last 24 hours, bringing the number of confirmed Corona cases in the country to 330,200.

The death toll in the country has risen to 6,759 after 14 more people died from the coronavirus in 24 hours, while the condition of 611 patients is critical.
