KARACHI: The CPLC says that 322 citizens were killed in Karachi during the last 10 months while 18,000 mobile phones were snatched.

According to the details, 10 months of this year criminal elements robbed the citizens with both hands.

The City Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) has released crime statistics for the first 10 months of this year, stating that 322 civilians lost their lives during the incidents, with 17 incidents of extortion reported from January to October.

According to the report, there were two kidnappings for ransom and one bank robbery. In 10 months, about 18,000 mobile phones were snatched from citizens and more than 1,300 vehicles were stolen or snatched while more than 30,000 citizens lost their motorcycles.

CPLC said that police recovered 281 vehicles, 1845 motorcycles, and 1885 snatched mobile phones.

Many incidents of snatching mobile phones or motorcycles by citizens have not been reported.

According to officials, the CPLC releases crime statistics at the end of each month.
