Lahore: An internal story has come to light regarding the withdrawal of Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan from the Punjab Information Ministry.

Sources said that the prime minister’s favorite Fayyaz Chauhan was involved in an internal conspiracy of the party and the complaints of the federal social media team also caused the withdrawal of Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan from Punjab Information Ministry.

According to sources, the Prime Minister often praised Fayyaz Chauhan’s performance in meetings and gave his example to other ministers, but during the Prime Minister’s last visit to Lahore, the federal social media team lodged complaints against Fayyaz Chauhan.

Advocate General Punjab opposed the appointment of Firdous Ashiq Awan

Objections were also raised that Fayyaz Chauhan was more involved in the social media team. He wanted to adjust his people in the social media team.

According to sources, the Punjab Chief Minister was also in favor of Fayyaz Chauhan’s withdrawal from the Information Ministry and senior ministers also had reservations.

Sources said that Fayyaz Chauhan projected less of the government and more of his own while Saifullah Niazi also lodged complaints against him.

A notification was issued yesterday to remove Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan from the post, according to which Firdous Ashiq Awan has been made Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab.

It may be recalled that while addressing a function in March 2019, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan had sharply criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and during that time he had also uttered insulting words against the Hindu community and he had to resign. However, on December 2, 2019, he was re-appointed as Punjab Information Minister.
